How we got started

Highly's Hanover Hounds was created in March 2025 from my lifelong passion and love for dogs. As a certified veterinary assistant with two years of hands-on experience working with dogs, I'm dedicated to responsibly helping families find a healthy, happy new companion.

I have a special soft spot for large breeds, and what started as a passion has grown into something truly meaningful to me. There's nothing more rewarding than helping bring the joy of a new four-legged family member into someone's life.

Foster application

Fostering gives a dog or puppy a safe place to land while we find their forever home. Tell us a bit about your household and what kind of fostering fits your life.

As of now, we are accepting applications for York & Adams county. If you reside in a nearby county or within reasonable range, long-term fosters may still apply and would be considered on a case-by-case basis!
